As in the idea of euthanasia? No, I think if someone is suffering and they want to die with dignity, that should be their right. We put pets to sleep to save them from suffering when they have a terminal illness - why can't we we do the same for ourselves? And no I'm not going to refer to Christianity...even though I guess I just did ;)

Christianity in my answer. I am not sure of I can do that but here is my 2 cents worth. I personally dont hold with the view of keeping someone alive - on life support when they are in their 80's and when they in pain and just becuase we have this technology does not make it ok. However if someone was in a coma and we could keep them alive its a whole different thing. people have come out of comas. However elderly people should be allowed to die with as much grace and dignity as possible.

You are not willing to accept non-Christian points-of-view? How close-minded of you.
Anyway, even though I believe there is no God I will answer your question hypothetically. It all comes down to God's Will. If God wanted a person to die, then no amount of human interference would matter. But it could be that he sent this particular person to save the dying one... so I think we should do all we can to prolong life and let God's Will have the final say...

It is wrong to interfere because, we are interfering with God's plan.
