10 ounces is 10 ounces. The frozen spinach was blanched so takes up less space.
Edited to add... Frozen vegetables actually have more nutrients than fresh unless you grow them yourself or purchase them from a local grower. They go directly from the field to be blanched and aren't stored as long as fresh. It doesn't seem like it would be true but it is.
During the fairly recent ecoli outbreak it was well publicized that no matter how much you washed fresh spinach it still wouldn't be safe to eat, cooked or raw. The ecoli was systemic, meaning it was within the plant itself. Frozen spinach is only as safe as the field it's grown in. Given these facts, neither one is safer than the other during an ecoli outbreak unless you know where it's from and that the field was not infected.

It doesn't. Cooked down...1 large bag (2 small bags) of fresh should give you probably a little more or less than one of those frozen boxes. The added bonus is that it is much more tender. For some reason (I have noticed) frozen spinach seems really stringy and tough to me.

Frozen spinach is more concentrated and has practically no chance of being infected with ecoli virus. Fresh spinach on the other hand, must be washed thoroughly and cooked properly to make sure it isn't infected. l personally would go with the canned variety.

It is possible, dearest. The frozen spinach is just frozen, that's all. If I was you, I rather prefer fresh and new spinach, because it's a vegetable and vegetables SHOULD be fresh! Hope I helped!

spinach is yummy, I would eat it fresh. But creamed spinach is good too. and the risks right now are lower in fozen. I dont know what it would end up being. I would think 10 oz is 10 oz.

10 oz. is 10 oz., as was mentioned above. What you're asking is like that question "Which is heavier, a ton of bricks or a ton of feathers?" They're both the same. Volume and mass are two different concepts.

It is the same. You can fill a pan to overflowing with spinach and it will shrink down to one serving.
