It controls 4 electric fans which depend on the number of people inside a room, very useful in a classroom. It also has a timer to set how many hours the room will be used.

That isn't very practical. Instead of a timer or number of people in the room, the fans should be controlled by a thermostat.

The hotter the room gets relative to the thermostat set point, the more fans you should activate to bring the temperature to the set point (desired temperature) faster.

I would go with the room temperature sensor. Then you can determine how quickly the temperature rises and get the module to decide weather to use 1,2,3 or 4 fans I guess. Slow increase in the temperature 1 fan, quicker increase = 4 fans. An outside temperature sensor and an inside one can help determine such a thing also.
