Pretty much anything can be a tat design, cartoons, art, portraits just type in tattoo designs on your search bar be aware some stuff is copyrighted. You could always go into the tattooists with an idea of your own. American sites have good resource material.

tattoodles.com i think is a free site. well you have to be a member for some stuff but you can get some free designs. i did like last year.
