Has the 4th seal already been opened?

Reason:

1. Alot of what is described in the 4th seal account is very similar to present circumstances in the world.

**** The 5th seal is the second coming of Christ. The 4th seal is the last phase before the second coming. I believe the 4th seal is already open. Until the 4th seal culminates, the 5th seal will not be opened.

**** I do not know when the 4th seal will reach its peak. As a matter of fact, no one does. Only God really knows. Yet, I have a hunch Christ's return is very near.

Dear icy,

Remeber the Bible is a spiritual book (1 Corinthians 2:13). Also remember that Christ spoke in parables (Mark 4:33, 34). Since the whole Bible is God's word, the entire Bible is parabolic in nature. For example "FAITH" is a synonym for Jesus Christ (Rev. 19:11). Go to Hebrews 11 and read the chapter inserting "Christ" for the word "faith".
Now with the matter of the second coming of Christ and end of the world. Please read Matthew 24:15, 16. The "holy place" and "Judaea" are parabolic for the local churches or congregations because that is where the true Gospel should be. But we learn in 2 Thessalonians 2 that there is a falling away from truth (the Bible), and false teachings have been accepted as truth. You'll note also that satan is now seated in the churches because the Holy Spirit has departed out of the midst of the churches. The Spirit of God is the One who applies the word of God to a person's heart in order that he/she may be saved. So if the Holy Spirit is not present, absolutely NO ONE can be saved there regardless of the accuracy of the preaching. This marks the beginning of the Great Tribulation-1988. Going back to Matthew 24:15, 16 we find that the abomination of desolation is satan and he is now ruling in ALL the local churches. The true believers (those who are saved) are to flee from the churches (Judaea) and go to the mountains (Psalms 121), which is parabolic for God Himself. This is repeated again in Revelation 18 also--look at verse 4. If you read through the entire chapter, you will find that the churches have become Babylon (where satan rules) and the voice of the Bridegroom (Christ) and coice of the Bride (the saved) are no longer heard in the churches. There are many other verses in the Bible to substantiate this but I do not have the room to write them all.
If you read 2 Peter 3 you will find that the Lord mentions the flood of Noah's day adn then goes into the final destruction of the world by fire. Please note in Genesis 7:4, God tells us that He will destroy the world with a flood in 7 days. Now go to 2 Peter 3:8 where God makes the statement that one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. The flood of Noah occurred in 4990 B.C. Now add 7000 years (7 x 1000) to 4990 and you arrive at 2011 A.D. This may be the year that the Lord Jesus Christ returns to judge the world.

Um Lilith, the third seal is referring to is Balance and Famine. In the spectrum of things we have had much famine and we have had a huge increase in what it costs us for Gas and food items etc. It is way more expensive than it used to be. Also, thre penny is worth more than what it is valued at. It actually takes around 1.2 cents to make a penny, give or take, and you will shortly see the penny done away with. Then the fourth seal says" and behold I saw a pale horse, and the name that was on him was death and hell followed with him. It goes onto a more severe punishment for the world. I beleive Christ is coming back soon.

Me too. Since alot of talk has been going around about the microchip being implanted in the hand or the forehead of most famous people. I believe the end is almost near. Since I believe the chip is the mark of the beast, abd the united nations is basically one form of government, and most money is being electronically changed( basically one form of money) the end of days could almost be upon us.
