Even as the need to be probably overprotective is undeniable, what about the reality of the fact that all actions taken in life is accompanied by a level of risk? Is it not worth it to give love a try to see if it could be worked out. Sometimes their hurt gets to me and I really... I don't know...

I think it is worth assessing whether or not the rewards outweigh the risks in this type of a situation. If you really like someone and have gotten to know them enough to make you think that they are worth pursuing, then go for it. Everything comes with a risk, but if you risk wisely, then the odds are in your favor. Though I know exactly how you feel...after some dissapointments in the love department sometimes you wonder why even bother with starting over.

um.. for every action (including love risk) there is an equal and opposite reaction. the greather the risk the greater the pain?

'love and trust ph' returns to some reasonable level to just feel somewhat normal. peace
