well im not talking about every homeless person. im talking about that guy youve seen outside 7-eleven for the past 4 years or the guy at the gas station trying to pump your gas for the past 6 years.

There's some truth to what you're saying, some of those out there on the streets are too lazy to get a job and would rather be homeless.
Others, they might have had a disabling accident at some point in life, and couldn't get back up after it. Or maybe their spouse kicked them out of the house and they have no where to go, and don't know where to go or who to turn to. I woundn't say it's wrong, but some of those people can't get back up their own two feet and they need help.

No its not wrong. Just be careful of the screwdriver shank. When I was in D.C. I watched a guy tell that to a bum outside 7-11 on I street and he got rolled.
I am sure that some of them cannot get a job, but for the most part they get enough money to keep them in booze, cigarettes and crack.

I think your slightly wrong for saying that, especailly if that is how u said it. Sometimes it is harder than we think for homeless people to pick up and work their life out. To us it seems like they could just get a job at McDonalds and sleep in a homeless shelter at night but the truth of the matter is, it doesnt happen like that. You never knwo someones situation, maybe next time a homeless person asks you for some spare change, you should think of how you would fell if your tail was out in the cold wiht out a sandwich or roof over your head.

That's not polite. If you choose not to give money then simply say no and move on. No need to kick someone when they are down.
Would you call a homeless mother with children a loser? Their are many parents without homes for themselves or their children...they are not losers but they ARE unfortunate.
Show a little compassion.

At first I was going to tell you that you should not tell anyone what to do, like get a job. But, ya if they harass you, for not giving them money, then hell yes, tell then not only to get a job, but remind them that there are vagrancy laws, and they need to stop bothering people or someone is going to call the cops.

Some people are out to get money, but many homeless people have no means to get a job. Our society has robbed them of all that they had and then tell them to work, but no one will hire them, or pay them enought to live on. It's a deadly cycle that will continue until we all wise up and strt helping each other.

do unto others how you want to be treated you don't know thier story why they are out thier like that. god does not judge nobody everyone has a story. you should stop saying that and give a dollar. if not that stop and ask them thier story you have the guts to tell them to get a job than ask them what happened I bet you'll be shocked on what they tell you

it's not wrong, but you could come off a little strong by saying comments like loser. i guess get a job is fine, just make sure a mob of hobos dont follow you and bum-rush you...

Wrong, perhaps not. Rude, definitely. I feel like telling that to a few people that I know but I simply don't because I try to avoid conflict at all costs.
