They can in the feet so I would assume the can there as well.

Actually yes. That's how mine was discovered. Even I could tell by looking at the X-rays that something was amiss, and I'm not trained in that field.

No, I have Ostio-Arthritis and you go to a clinic where they specialize in it. I was given a needle in the morning and came back a few hours later when they gave me special x-rays. I think
the needle was a dye injection.

yes they can,if it is bad enough to show up on the x-ray

if it is calcifacation of the joints yes other wise usaly not
