Every Christian I have met automatically sells me the "I AM SAVED" and you are going to hell line. I try my best to make this world a better place. I accept ALL MEN AS BEING CREATED EQUAL, because no matter what-none of us get out of here alive. But unlike those that would choose a religion that prejudices those that do not and will not accept it, by condeming us to Hell and using their popular vote to deny us our Freedoms-we are the ones, us REALISTS that see human kind more as a brotherhood of compassion than ANY RELIGION ON EARTH! We have accepted you Christians, Muslims, Budists and Jews as equals. We have tolerated your wars and bias, prejudices and hates because we did not see them for what they really were-ACCEPTED PREJUDICE. You have chosen to be one of YOUR GODS chosen children. You have therefore declared that all others that do not make this choice are condemned, only what we have been condemned to is YOUR CREATING HELL ON EARTH! Get out of Iraq and stay in church!

I am a Christian. I am saved. I am not going to push my faith on you. I do try and express my beliefs to others, not because I am trying to ridicule them, but because I care about them and I am happy, extremely happy with my faith and therefore wish for others to experience it. I have never and will never tell anyone they are going to hell. That is not for me to determine. When I have talked to others about faith in the past, many jump on the offensive, though it has nothing to do with what I said. I tell myself it's because they're scared of faith. I don't know if that's what it is, but they may also be scared that I'm right. I am NOT trying to say this is what you feel. YOUR opinions are YOURS, and I respect that. But please, do not attack Christians because you feel they attack you. We aren't all the same.

First of all, yes I am a Christian. If you choose to be a realist and not believe in God, that is your choice and if you read the bible, it does mean you are going to hell... once again... your choice. I accept you and everyone else. I don't have to agree with it, but I accept it. Secondly, *I* am not the one creating hell on Earth. I know that there is a place for me to go when I die that will be better than this Earth ever could be. Read the book of Revelations and try to just once understand the things that are coming true regarding the Rapture. In recent years, storms have become more fierce and destructive than ever before, wars are becoming deadlier, plagues are happening (no, not in the same way as described in past times, but AIDS, Hepatitis, Cancer, Asian bird flu, strains of viruses and bacteria that have even the most intelligent scientists and medical professionals baffled.)

Lastly, this is as much MY Earth as it is yours. I'm peaceful, I have harmed no one and we all have free will. It even says so, right there in MY bible (as you believe it is). You have the free will to choose to believe as you wish, but when this world ceases to exist, you'll be living through 7 years of hell on Earth and I'll be in Heaven with the man who created everything you see. GOD BLESS YOU.

I am a Christian that believes that all religions, beliefs, etc. have part of the "answer" and that we need one another to discover the real "truth" out there... that if we worked together we would find it...

I don't believe I will be saved just because I am a Christian and those who are not Christians will be doomed to eternal damnation. Jesus spent time with people who were different and OTHERS saw as "unclean" or "unworthy" - did he say "hey, I'm better than you? No, he loved them, he helped them, he tried to show others through example the Love of God. He certainly didn't pick up a weapon and kill them. I think that is a good example for all.

Sounds like too much candy and soda to me. You shouldn't watch so much South Park. Going to Church is like hugging a tree for good luck. The Pope used to call me and I still don't go to church. You're barking up the wrong...uh, tree. Jesus turned the tables in the temples. War is about money and power so are most religions.Don't you get that yet? We are all being set up against each other. Heaven on earth is the war in heaven on earth. The meek shall inherit the earth; That's most likely mice and cockroaches.

Isn't that what life is really about? Helping and accepting other? I mean what would life be if you were alone on this planet? Very boring indeed. Life isn't about what 'God' you worship or what church you go to, it's about faith in yourself and your fellow human beings. You are here to be all that you want to be and to share your experiences with others. What could be more human than that?

Nice Rant! I agree with the sentiment in principle, if only we could all just live and let live. However pipe dreams rarely come to fruition - another facet of being a realist is to understand the limitations of the human spirit unfortunately.

Yawn, where am I? Is this a church?? Am I stuck in a presidential debate?
What was the question? I fell asleep at the first 2 sentences.
Can you speak your mind with less words like the rest of us? I'm not in the mood to read essays..

If you meet me, I would not tell you that I am saved. and that
you are going some where other than where I am going. Our
works and faith determines where we are going/ and where
we will be. Only the Bible, the Creator and ourselves can
only answer that. Notice what Matthew 6:33, and Matthew
7: 21,22 reads.

Well aside from the huge generalisation, I agree with you. Not all Christians are preaching, condemning, fundies.... but gosh it seems like a LOT of them are!
