I agree with Sticky Fingers 1947 who just asked this question.
Who is fed up with the religious questions and answers?
This "religious" forum is about 20 percent religious people and about 80 percent atheists these days. It's just a joke, a bash fest. They try to see who can outdo the other insulting us. They think they're witty. The ruder they are, the more they pat each other on the back and give each other thumbs up. I swear most of them are probably kids. Who else is getting really fed up besides us?

To Not a Gay Pastor..... - I don't judge anyone. I know that people who insult religious people don't belong on this forum.

If you who think the bashers belong here are so spiritual, then why do you insult other people who are spiritual? That doesn't sound too spiritual to me.

I'm not religious, but I am spiritual, so I qualify to be in here.

Am I religious currently? Yes
Yes there are 'Christian bashers' on here presently too. My present opinion of that; the bashers God can deal with. Those looking to edify themselves on the matter; fine. I realize I currently do not 'know it all' (nor do I have to); so perhaps we can help each other.

beneficial. i'm maximum actually not non secular. i've got faith "God", in all techniques, shapes and varieties, is the shared emotion and adventure that human beings international have been waging wars and terrorizing one yet another over. it incredibly is annoying while a theory it incredibly is so very own and esteemed, gets spat upon and observed as depraved, shameful and incorrect. it incredibly is an insult of super value, and a super form of folk around the planet substitute into excessively risky while this nerve is struck. it incredibly is like 2 components of the earth combating to the dying over if it incredibly is "Toe-could-to" or "Toe-mah-to". in basic terms they have the historic texts to back it up.

I'm religious and spiritual. Not Christian though so I guess you think I don't belong either?
Do you know what spiritual means?
Since this clearly isn't a Christian only section, maybe you can get Yahoo to start one where you need proof to get in.

I know what you mean ... at times there is quite a lack of intellegent questions and I too am getting sick of the atheist insults. Makes me never want to go back there and be the type of person who mocks the religious.

This section is for questions about religion and spirituality. It's not just about religion, it's not just about one single religion, and it's definitely not just about people who agree with that one single religion. Atheists may not take religions as truth, but they acknowledge their existence, as well as their social and historical significance.
I'd like to see more questions, including the "what if" and "if God is all-powerful" questions posed by doubters and non-believers. I'd like to see less of the preaching and other non-questions.

"The most beautiful emotion we can experience is the mystical. It is the power of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their most primitive forms - this knowledge, this feeling, is at the center of true religiousness. In this sense, and in this sense only, I belong to the rank of devoutly religious men."
- Albert Einstein
I feel that most people claim to be religious, but have missed the point that religiousness is a feeling, not a point of view.

The statement is about right, but I rather enjoy the chaos of it all. I am Christian, but it is possible to sift through the puerility and find ideas worth considering.

Atheist(I hope that's spelled right) have a right to question our faith. If they mock, well, underneath is a real desire to understand, I think. This is the R&S section and it wouldn't be near as fun if their weren't any atheist here. You should lighten up.
