The easiest way is to use an on-line tax program, that way the program figures it out for you.

I like this one because it donates part of your fee to charity. Also, you can see how much you are getting back before you pay.

Don't use Turbo tax, they get your numbers wrong.

The IRS provides a form known as a 1040. Fill it out and your refund, if any will be listed on line 73.

If you make less than $52,000, you are eligible for some free file programs. You just answer the questions and it calculates your refund for you.
