My favorite are the Yamaha series: Royal Stars, Road Stars, and the new StratoLiner 2000 CC twin - Lot's 'O' power + - Comfort Galore - Reasonably Priced - And incredible Dependability!!
I have 20,000 plus miles on my '97' Tour Deluxe and have never had one break down or any service / mechanical problems.

This question totally depends on your budget. You can spend unbelievable amounts of money on a top line road bike ($10-15K) or you can spend much less. The better question is what is a good bike for me for the type of riding I want to do? That being said, Colnago is second to none! I've ridden Trek, Giant, Cervelo, Time, Look, and I have never found anything equal to my Colnago C-50. That being said, it cost more than my car. LOL

in case you like spinning, then highway cycling is maximum like spinning. Having the two a highway and mountain bike i might say the two may well be the two severe and relaxing. i think of with a highway bike you may leap on, roll out of the abode for an hour and get an particularly large workout consultation. For an magnificent mountain bike journey now and returned you're able to wish topersistent out to the final trails, so there is greater education and set up in touch, yet as quickly as you're interior the decrease back u . s . a . seeing deer, foxes, and coyotes that is surprisingly surprising. yet my advice is to invite your spin classification pals what they are using, and how generally. in case you have some pals to journey with the two highway or mountain, that is often the main relaxing. So in the journey that your classification is often roadies, get a highway bike. usually mountain, then a mountain bike. maximum cyclists continuously like introducing new human beings to the sport. i individually do no longer think of there's a one hundred% ultimate determination, the two are good.

These bikes vary greatly on price but all have been really nice:
-Litespeed Catalyst: I own one and love it. Litespeed makes uniformly great bikes in titanium (for the most part), are often envied by others, lasts forever.
-Specialized Tarmac (carbon fiber): really comfy but really responsive; I've always been impressed with Specialized bikes, some of the best riding bikes regardless of price
-Specialized Roubaix: Super comfy yet raced by pros on cobbles
-Cannondale Six13
-Masi 3V: best riding bike, steel is real, heavy compared to today's CF wonders
-Orbea Onix: at $2400 for a Campy Centaur bike weighing 16.5 lbs, nothing can touch this. Very comfortable, very responsive, great handling, better than many mega-buck rides, I can't believe this is not Orbea's top model, lively ride
Whatever you decide on, get a proper fitting and go to a local bike shop to test ride bikes. Money saved by buying on the internet is lost when you have to pay to get adjustments done, servicing, minor component swaps, price breaks on accessories.

There are many good road bikes out there, just as there are good foods, good vacation spots, etc... Without knowing what you want to use the bike for (how far, how often, where will you ride it?) and what you want to spend, it's too hard to answer your question. I wouldn't trust someone who, without knowing what you're thinking, starts tossing out some makes and models.

Any bike will do. Remember Bicycles are made of components such as Shimano,Compy,or Suntour. Good choices are Seven,Chaffee,Raleigh or Diamond Back, and my favorite Konga.
So here's a start and always wear your riding apparel for bicycle fittings believe me they might require it.
