As long as there is no oil or anything on it, and he's not eating anything on the ground under the snow, it'll be fine. My new dog just saw snow for the first time a few weeks ago, and she's a little snowplow!

Hello, I asked my vet this years ago. He said animals are like children in the sence that they love to play in snow. What child hasn't ever tasted snow????? Thay just love the taste and the fun. It also is giving them water they need. So do not worry. Sometimes it is fun to get out and play with them..... Playing keeps you young.... So have some fun.

Of course there is nothing to worry about!! Snow is just water! Although if she's eating it, she may be thirsty, especially when water freezes in the winter! Consistently check her water bowl

Nothing wrong with eating snow as long as it doesn't have anything on it like salt or oil, etc. Just be prepared to let your dog out lots to pee later!!

its ok for him/her to eat it. it's just water in a different form. Just make sure there are no harmful things around tha same area like someone metioned oil, or gas, or and thing of that nature. we have fun with our dog in the snow we make SOFT snow balls and throw them at him and he jumps and bites it trying to catch it like a ball.

i am praying that he isn't an outside dog and that his water bowl is frozen and he is thirsty..... if he lives a good life , inside with you, has access to fresh water at all times,,, then i would not worry about snow eating.... ( just make sure there isn't poop frozen in that snow that he is munching on)

Snow is frozen water. You give him water, right? Then he can eat snow, as long as it's clean.

Snow = frozen water
A.O.K. for dogs, people, etc...as long as it's not full of pesticide or anything like that.
