ask him...would you ever date a girl like me? what do you think my qualities are? what do you like about me? and just start asking him questions like that and maybe he will open up and let you know what he likes about you and if he likes you

They say best friends become great lovers. I'm sure you know him from head to toe! Why not step up a notch and ask him out to a movie.. Just you two, alone. & If you can ask him how he feels about you, like if he felt something more towards you. Would you want to be in love with him and never tell him? Or risk a chance and tell him how you feel having a chance that he likes/love you right back.

You Ladies, have the knack of showing your Emotions, with your Eyes. Some guys, pick up on it. But some need to be shown with a Flashlight. Bring it to him, slowly. If you rush him. He'll bolt in a New York Minute. Be respectful. To the both of you. Luck!

I have had the same issue. I just came straight out and told him. But since you don't want to do that then. Hang around him a lot, give him hugs (if he allows) laugh and joke with him. Ask him to things, just a simple party or to hang out. Use your girl advantage of flirting and go all out. But don't go too far if you do you may scare him. Lay it on lightly at first. Sooner or later he may notice, oh she must like me. Have your friends just ask with out giving signs that you put them up to asking him if he likes you. When you think that isn't working or he seems to kind of get the picture come out and tell him. Guys do like confidant girls, just not that confidant. Good luck!

As he is talking to you about some other girl, grab him and kiss him. If he kisses you back then SCORE. If he is repulsed say that you saw a girl do this in a movie and you wanted to do it too with your best friend.

The only way is to tell him how you feel. I'm saying this because it is truly the only way because guys are horrible hint takers. If you don't want to say it to his face. Write him a note.

i think he is right, but you dont want him to hear it from other people, so keep it on the dl. I was best freinds with my wife since 6th grade and during senior year in high school she had another boyfreind and i told her how i felt and she dumped him and 1 year later we got married

I'm having the same problem, too. Smile at him, talk to him, make good eye contact, etc.. My guy has been sick for over a week and I haven't seen him..WAH!

Actually tell him, please. Say, "Dude, I'm really starting to fall hard for you and I was just wondering if you and I could make it?" Then shut up because the next words he speaks will say exactly what needs to be said.

you have to tell him how you feel. i mean it just is not fair. you have to set himself straight and yourself. it will be hard but you never know.. you guys might work something out and things will be fine either way (whether he feels the same way or not).
