Hello!

Many Africans speak English. What country/language are you looking for?

There are at least over 1000 different languages on the African continent.

Which one did you mean?

If you know how to say Welcome in English and French (Bienvenue), it might help you for a start. Many Africans know one of those languages or both.

in the Sahara desert, they are likely to use arabic greetings since they would be muslim I assume. So you can't get wrong if you use "Salam" or "Salam aleikum".
hope this helps. But it would be more accurate if you had the name of a country.
