Glass has a higher tendency than aluminum to hold heat, or keep it at bay - meaning glass is a better heat insulator. Worse yet is plastic bottles as far as insulation of the drink.
That said, all other factors being equal (speed of consumption, temperature of the can/bottle at the start, temperature of the outside environment to which the can/bottle are exposed), the answer is glass.
On the other hand, since glass is a better insulator than aluminum, it also takes longer to cool the drink down - works both ways.
Also, since you can't poke a hole in a glass bottle and shotgun the beer like you can with an aluminum can, the question is not all that relevant.

it all depends. if u r just inside the house and u put the container in the freezer and take it out it will stay cooler. but if u r outside or at a beach i imagine a bottle would stay cooler

Drinks sure do stay colder for longer periods when stored in glass bottles. However, canned drinks get colder much faster.

bottle, aluminum conducts heat into your beer faster. cans feel cooler because your skin is transferring heat into the can. Try an instant read thermometer to test this. Beer experiments are fun.

I personally think in cans, but I drank some water out of a water bottle that was in my garage and it was really cold. I guess it depends on the tempurture of the room its in.

Bottles. They are a thicker material. Plus metal addapts to temperature a lot faster.

Can. Aluminum absorbs the cold temperatures faster than glass.
