yeah it made a sound. just because no one heard it doesn't mean it didn't have a sound. like what if their were cutting down trees and the sound from it was so loud that no one herd a tree fall. i don't know but look at it the other way how can a tree fall and NOT make a sound

No, not if it fell in the middle.
Slightly left'or right of center, there would be a bif boom!!! But in the middle, nothing.

It would still send out vibrations, but because there was no one to hear it, it makes no sound (technically)
