Thats the,uh,meaning of hispanic.Spaniards arent hispanic.
But I think some latinos,like cubans, shouldnt be termed hispanic either cuz they are freaking white,mulatto[black/white],or black.There is no indian in a cuban.All the spaniards killed them off when they came to cuba,so the ''hispanic'' cubans are of the conquistador blood that killed the indians in the first place!!!
Mexicans,yeah,alot of them are indian but the term hispanic is referring a mix of many culutres like black,indian and white that makes up the hispanic population.Many mexicans are 100% white too,they are just not the ones that come over here to work cuz they R rich as hell.
Ah,yes,and the term ''gringo'' is actually a foreigner and mexicans called americans that,not other hispanics. Anglo-white would make more sense.If it were by your definition then many white hispanics are ''gringo'' too.

Most of the illegals are Mexican Indians. Most of the legal Mexicans have more spanish blood..Hispanic is related to the spanish language.
