When people are angry they tend to lash out, do things that they normally wouldn't do. Usually these things are bad and the outcome will be worse. Like if someone is angry at there friend, and picks up a bowling ball and throws it at the T.V. it will break it. Not a good thing, cause now they have to buy a new T.V. Plus their friend is still mad at them. The way they handled their anger, made them react is a negative way. So the consequence was worse than the initial anger.

It means that the consequences of taking out your anger is a lot worse than what caused you to be angry in the first place. It's not worth it to become destructive for anything.
