-After shampoo and conditioning, rinse with apple cider vingear.
-Always always deep condition your hair at least once a week, if your really ambitious, twice a week.
-If your hair is dry, try not to wash more than twice a week.
-Before getting in the shower to wash your hair, brush your hair for awhile. Sounds very Marcia Brady, but redistributing your natural oils like this really helps make it healthy. Also, will make it less tangled and easier to handle in the shower! Make sure not to brush your hair "dry", put some oil or leave in conditioner on it first.
-Sounds gross but a hair mask made out of eggs makes hair very very shiny.
-Also gross sounding, but a mask of mayonaise works wonders.
-So does washing hair with beer!
-Coconut oil, Almond oil, Vitamin E oil all make WONDERFUL deep conditioners. Almost any oil works, but olive oil leaves many peoples hair drier.
-Avocado is also amazing.
-Although getting a blowout makes hair look and feel soft it is only a temporary fix as heat styling makes hair duller and damaged, so save it for only special occasions if possible, and never ever use heat on wet hair without a protective spray!
-Get a deep conditioning treatment done at the salon once a month or every 2 months if possible.
-What you put into your body is also important for your hair. Make sure your eating a healthy and balanced diet and getting enough good fats, such as from avocado. Also, eat a lot of salmon, its amazing for hair, and maybe take some fish oil capsules as a dietary supplement.
-If all these things fail, then you can always use products to fake the look. Biosilk is expensive but works wonders

There is no way to tame damaged hair other than cutting it and conditioning it with a good protein conditioner. Use the protein conditioner at least once a week until the damaged hair is repaired. Keep your ends trimmed about every six weeks and try not to use a curling iron or blow dryer any more than you have to as it will only dry your hair out more. Good luck.

1 cup mayonnaise (room tempeture if possible, like from a jar of brand new mayo just off the grocery store shelf)
1/2 cup olive oil
3 egg yolks
Not the one? See other Super Duper Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment for Damaged Hair Recipes
< 15 mins
Bath/Beauty
Eggs
Diabetic
Blend all ingredients together in a bowl.
* If possible use room tempeture mayo - if not, let mixture warm up to room tempeture*. **If you are in a rush and just can't wait - microwave the mayo for 15 seconds - but be careful - if you nuke it too long it begins to separate**.
Apply thourghly through your hair adding extra at the ends.
Pile on top of your head and cover with a plastic shower cap and then cover with a towel to keep in the heat from your head.
Leave on for at least 10-20 minutes and then rinse out.
Should make 1 to 2 hair treatments depending on the length of your hair.
If you don't want to save the left over for another treatment use whatever is left over as a moisturizing face mask. Also can be used on dry elbow and knees(for best results, this should be used immediately after making and not saved. It will still work, but won't be as effective as when it's fresh).
Do NOT shampoo afterwards, just rinse it really well. Do this on a day when you are not going to go out. Any oil that clings to your hair after you rinse it out, will continue to condition your hair until the next time you shampoo it out.
*** for best hair conditioning purposes, use immediately after making without refridgerating first. The reason is, the fats and oil will penetrate your hair follicles better if it is not cold. Tip to remember for all hair care: Warm/Hot opens the hair follicles so that conditioner can penetrate deeper. And cold water closes the hair follicles. So after you shower your hair, after you rinse every thing out, rinse again with a blast of very cold water. The coldest you can possibly stand. This cold water blast will also make your hair super shiny!***.

I've gotten my hair chemically straightened before and it did tame the frizz and split ends. I heard chinese straightening works wonders but can be costly. Def get it cut, deep conditioner treatment, and try not to use too many hot tools on your hair. I try to wash and straighten my hair every 2 days or so to stop the damage! And always use conditioner. Good luck :)

The only thing you can do it get a haircut to remove the damaged hair. Those product that "repair" split ends don't really work.
