Yes, often. I've done it ever since I got red blood stains on my shirt after failing to notice that my nose was bleeding.

Sometimes I do.
This is because I had a serious sinus infection many years ago, lasting for almost four years. I want to prevent a recurrence, which would be indicated by the color of produced mucus. So I have to check it every once in a while, especially if feeling phlegmy.

Yes I check it. And I am aware. We all like to view all the disgusting stuff that comes off of or out of our bodies. Ever really look at a scab when it came off? Everybody does-we certainly are gross creatures. LOL

Yes. If it is green it can indicate an infection that requires antibiotics. If people paid more attention to their bodily functions they would cut down on the amount of hospitalizations when things get serious.
