Because god doesn't exist so he doesn't bog down my rush hour commute like people do.

Also, since he doesn't exist, he never stands in front of me at the express lane at the supermarket with a basket full of items like people do.

Most of all, since he doesn't exist, he never asks me to prove that he doesn't exist on Yahoo Answers like people do.

It is demanded by Him. God is a jealous God. There is no some reason or a billion reason to speak of.....it is simply demanded. The Bible said that thou shalt love thy God with all thy heart, with all thy mind and with all thy soul.

Our love for God and for man is not to be compared. We cannot love God the same way or with the same intensity that we can love people, because if we do, we have not loved Him at all. Part of the economy of loving God is that he takes the preeminence on our sould, heart and mind.

The measure of whether we love God is keep His commandment and that is the proof and fruit that he is looking for if we say we love Him.

God is always there for me. He doesn't let me down. But I love God and people the same, because I believe God is in everyone and the best way to love him is to love your fellow man.

Because He is the only being I know who left the glories of heaven to come down here and exist as a man to give me a way out of my sin and misery not to mention going to the cross to seal that way and make it forever open to everyone who will accept it until He comes again.

The Lord Jesus Christ wants us to love people the same way that we love Him. Imagine if the world had faith and people truly loved others, there would be no wars...

God is his people, because they are His children. If you love Him, you love mankind, and vice versa. Granted, people are only human, but if you are human too, why would you hate your own kind?
