My younger brother and I are 3 years apart. Sometimes I wished i was an only child because he was an annoying little brother most of the time, but we were best friends and always stood up for eachother and helped eachother out. Especially now that we are older, 25 and 22, we are great friends. Since my dad passed away 2yrs ago and my mom lives thousands of miles away, weve gotten even closer because we are all we have. Its nice to have someone that you can share things with and talk to...someone thats always known you and really knows you better than anyone else. My husband is an only child and he always says he wished he could have had a sibling. Siblings can be annoying, but they are better than nothing!

Depends on the sibling. If I had a rotten brother, I would have rather been an only child. But my brother is one of my closest friends (lucky me). I'd choose to have siblings.
