proper moisturizing is the key. i take and mix vitamin e lotion with nuetrogena's sesame oil. after taking a hot shower, rather than towel drying, apply a generous coat of this mixture and air dry. that way you have optimum moisturizing absorption. when tne pores are open and you apply the moisturizer it will sink in better and more evenly.

Contrary to what is posted, you should shave and exfoliate, especially before tanning again. Another way is to keep your skin extra hydrated, and use a moisturizer that has gradual color building. That will keep pigment and your skin soft!!!

Good miniaturization! Keeping skin moisturized is the best way to keep your tan. It keeps your skin open to tanning and not so dry.

if you exfoliate before you tan and if you keep applying lotions to keep your skin healthy.
it wont make you tan last longer, nothing can do that, but it will keep your skin in tip top condition.
as each layer of skin sheds, your tan becomes lighter. so if you make sure that the skin isnt shedding too quickly and that it looks healthy, then your skin will look its best!
