well, i dunno about ur dvd player and computer.
but, i write the movies onto a regular 700 megabyte cd, with a regular cd righter.
what i do is (i use nero) make a 'data disk' and put the movies on it.
it depends what ur dvd player plays. or if u want to just play it on ur computer, u wont have to worry about what ur dvd player can play.
u can drag the clip/movies onto the desktop frm ur library, or find the folder where limewire puts the downloaded stuff( the folder is called limewire.lol.)

Download Nero:
www.nero.com/nero7/eng/nero7-demo.php
This program will let you burn programs to the cd.
Just insert the writeable disk into the ROM and use the SW wizard to set the settings.
Whether or not you will need to burn on dvd or cd depends on how big the files are. If they are over 700MB you will need a dvd as the maximum size of a cd is 700MB.
However you could use a program to break up the files in parts and burn separately if you do not have a dvdr

employing Limewire you're very greater probable to get a deadly disease. except you're very savvy, have sturdy antivirus/antispyware risk-free practices, then stay remote from Limewire. video clips could have code embeded in them that launch an internet site or exploits living house windows and unloads it incredibly is payload (virus, and so on.). some everybody is actual tricked into downloading what they think of is a video or music yet do not pay close interest and then finally end up infecting their pc. So particular, his fears could be justified.

I suspect they're not actual dvd files....
I'm guessing you donwloaded the divx or xvid compressed video. You can burn it to cd using nero and select vcd option. Or any burning software which supports vcd. It will take a few minutes to encode and burn the disc then you can play it in any progressive scan dvd player

Right click on the song, go to save as... and click on the CD drive in the [My Computer] section. It should be on there.
