there's this guy that fancies me and i like him as a friend, but i don't fancy him. how do i let him know that i don't want to go out with him wihtout actually saying it or hurting his feelings?
the problem is i'm not sure if he will grow on me, but he's really ugly, but i don't want to be shallow about looks because it's what's on the inside that counts, but sometimes he can be annoying as well, cos he can be a bit geeky. help!

uh but make it clear that you're friends, and only friends, for now at least, and if you change your mind, let your relationship change fluidly therewith.

If you dont find him attractive why would you settle? You need to be with someone that you personally like to look at. Just tell him the truth, I like you but not in that way.
