If you put your fingers in your ears, what is the rumbling noise that you can hear?

Someone said to me its your blood? Is that right??

Hi I agree with some of the more sensible answers

- the sound is your heart pumping your blood around your body, remember that the brain needs fresh oxygenated blood to work its many wonders so you probably can hear the blood rushing though your veins too with a thud in the background (your heart).

some of the sound could also be your fingers moving in your ears, so if you want to test it out properly best use ear plugs.

Yes, it's the blood rushing through your veins. It the same thing that causes the sea to be heard in sea shells.

It's the air that is try to come out but your finger is blocking it so it is whirling around in your head.
