What is going to get all people to have concern for global warming and start conserving? Most people deny it.

They know that the planet is warmer, but the factories keep burning the light pollution is horrible as well as many other kinds of pollution. The forests are being cut down and not replaced. No one is planting trees. Wars are waging for oil (and all are guilty). While the rest of us who just want to exist in peace watch in dismay as every message for peace and conservation is ignored for the sake of human greed or laziness. Besides absolute destruction of the planet, what is going to slap the human race into action?....before it is to late.

Many people know about it, but everyone that can do anything thinks, "it wont have affect in my lifetime" but being a 14 year old, that drives me insane. By the year 2050 at least 2/5 of animal species on earth will be gone, but it wont be in any of our politicians lifetimes, so why the hell would they do anything? Already at the rate we consume resources, to keep our population sustainable we would need 7 planets.

Sorry if im rambling, im just furious at all the politicians.

Excuse me this planet has gone through this cycle at lease seven times in ages pass, all the pollution is doing is helping speed the process up. During the fifties, sixties, and early seventies we were in what was called a Mimi ice age now we are in the normal heat up period. What is making it worse is we are cutting down so many trees, paving so much land area, and we are generating so much heat from our homes, factories, planes, ourselves, reduced trees mean less shad and more land mass that is heating up. We have already done the damage and reversing it mite be out of our hands now. We need to start replacing the trees we cut down and reduce the bear earth being exposed to the sun. These trees hold water, produce Oxygen, keep soil cooler and help keep the planet cooler as well.

Probably nothing. Millions of tons of crap DAILY into the atmosphere is nothing to sneeze at. Pun intended.

We are screwing ourselves over for a buck.
Shooting ourselves in the herd.
Stepping on our own ducks.
Cutting off our nose to spite our finch.
Kicking ourselves in the aardvark.

We're ruining it for everybody and everything, and people who can't accept it are three fries short of a Happy Meal.
