have you dropped the oil pan, good chance the pick-up tube is stopped up.if you have then move to the oil pump.toyotas have long been crank shaft driven.when the motor is running, are the drive belts turning.if not you probably have a broken crankshaft.engine runs but front portion doesnt turn.that is the part that drives the pump. regardless, damage has been done.remove the engine.time to take it apart.if the problem isnt obvious, blow out the oil passages.no air flow no oil flow.take your time and check them all.be sure to replace the oil pump to.with no oil,it is shot.every thing will have to be checked for damage, valve train,pistons,cylinders......
good luck.

The piston with the spring is a relief valve to keep from having too much pressure, did you take the oil pan off and check to see if the pick up tube is in good condition, it's a tube usually has a screen in the end and is submerged in the oil in the pan, if it's not sealed the oil will not get sucked up to the pump, if it is plugged the same thing will happen.

I think it is time to call a real mechanic. The oil pressure relief valve is the item you are referring to. The obvious is that the oil pump is not pumping. Depending on which engine you have you need to find where it is driven from (cam or crank) and make sure what drives it is there, Some have a shaft with a gear on the end of it. Not enough details in your question to give you a detailed diagnosis, but if the pump is not driven it will not pump.

"proble" is that a new word?
Problem and Trouble.

Anyway, if you removed the oil pump, the drive shaft into the pump may have come out.

Something has to mechanicaly drive the pump!
