I'm a whole hearted Christian, and I don't have a problem with life on other planets. It may be that God created life on other planets. They may or may not have sinned; if not, they're in no need of a savior, and they walk with God just as Adam and Eve did. They may have sinned, and Jesus may have saved them in some other way from how He saved us. Or He may be commissioning us to bring the Gospel to them - that He came to earth to save all men, regardless of what planet they live on.
So, life on other planets is no threat to Christianity, much as some atheists would like to think so - obviously Carl Sagan did.

Whether or not God will ever create life on planets other than Earth, is unknown. However, before possibly undertaking such a thing, he has Several Other Things scheduled. They are explained in the Bible, and elaborated on in the following articles -- complete with reference-links to the Scriptures they are based on, for easy comparison with the text, & your own Bible.

I think it is possible. It would be hard to explain but the vast size of the universe makes it very possible. Just because God did something does not mean we as simple humans are capable or will ever be capable of understanding. There is no reason why God could not have created life on another planet. Maybe someday we will find out!

I personally think that Genesis is totally untrue. I can't get myself to believe in all of that. I DO believe that there is life on other planets, and I DO believe that they may have religion, but I'm a scientific sort of girl and I really don't believe in the whole "God created everything, so let's move on" sort of thing. I just believe that we should listen to what Jesus has to say and follow his message of love.
The bible doesn't talk about life on other planets becuase the people who wrote it had no clue of other planets.

I think that it is possible that God created life on another planet. You are right, it says nothing about other life forms in the Bible, but it doesn't say they don't exist. If there are other life forms, then they are most likely not in the image of God (human). If they were, then God would love them just as much as he loves us, and they would probably be in the Bible. This is just a guess, I'm not pretending to be God or anything, this is just my opinion.

I can safely say with a clean contiousness, NO, no other life on other planets, this is something we as humans get in our brains from crazy fairy tales. God created this EARTH Jesus came to this EARTH...Jesus died for us HUMANs....there is no other life on other planet's nor will there ever be, unless it is a man made thing, I have no doubt that someday we will try to live on the moon, but until then, there is no life outside this one.
Human life is a precious gift from above, treasure it always, love it within reason, and trust the one who created it with your LIFE.
God bless you,
Kat

Sorry, I'm not Christian, but will answer anyways. I think there may be life on other planets. Are we so conceited to think that we are the only life here in this universe? There is so much space unexplored, so there just maybe. Who are we to say that ALL life needs oxygen?

I think that other planets are necesarry to keep our planet in a state that is beneficial to life. Look at the atmospheres of other planets in our solar system (carbon based life forms can't exist there). I think God planned everything from the smallest quark to the largest galaxy to align our world in an intricate design that can support life on Earth. I think life is a miracle in and of it self.

Lets clarify a few things. Since sin, mankind is less than perfect. Perfection is YHVH's standard. YHVH sent the Savior YAHOSHUA so that by receiving Him man could receive the perfection needed to live in a perfect world. If a person chooses not to receive this gift, then he cannot live in the perfect world, and therefore, when the Almighty cleanses this world with fire, and burns up all sin (prior to making this world new, and perfect) then those people attached to their sins will be burned up with the sins they refuse to give up. How could the Almighty be more generous???? The Scriptures are written for us, and why should we be told whether of not there is life on other planets? We are not His first creation, He made angels.
