why do you try so hard?...i mean who are you trying to impress???

im talking specifically on here...people sometimes try sooooooo hard to give the right answer that they end up looking like a complete loser...no offense...they dont say what they really think half the time...they just give what they think is the required acceptable textbook answer...

the people that try less and are just direct and say what they mean...or simply have a sense of humour are far more beguiling in my opinion....and theyre answers that tend to be truer too...so why do you think so many people try so hard to impress other people that they dont even know???

Tend to agree with you on this. Imagine what those type of people would be like in real life. Like a pre-programmed droid or something.

The Space Colony ARK is a fictional space station in the Sonic the Hedgehog series of video games. You shouldn't stop yourself at that.
Just take whatever ou need. It's up to you to sort out what's worth your time and what isn't.
There will be people who won't even understand what the message is about. They'll interprete it one way and will get started on that.
Others are just bored.
Fortunately, there are some who are really trying to help. It doesn't mean they'll have the right answer, but at least, they share their experience or knowledge.
It's really up to you to make the final decision.

I dont know if I am guilty of this offence but the way i see it is like this: maybe some people try to impress the people they dont know to give themselves a sense of well being and satisfaction!! Who knows?

If your going to answer a question why not answer it fully, not trying to impress as no one on here knows or really cares who i am, just trying to answer a question thats been asked.

Basically, it's because they want to be picked as the best answer. I prefer honest answers especially those that are based on experience. The ones that try too hard are usually obvious.

Most off us aren't experienced on here, except on specialised subjects and we just do our best.
I'm good at sitting on the fence, and have already borrowed tweezers this evening; to remove splinters from a certain part of my anatomy! ;-)
