No. Thomas had previously told others that he would not believe unless he was able to actually put his finger on the wounds of Christ. So, when you read in John (chap 20, around verse 26 or so) where Christ told Thomas to take his finger and put it into His side, Thomas reacted by saying "My Lord, and my God", because Christ was obviously aware of what Thomas had said, so that in itself made him believe.
But no, because of that, he didn't actually do it, or better said, the Scriptures do not say specifically that he did do it.
Thomas translated back to the Hebrew means "doubter". The fact that his mother named him that, 25 years before this is a miracle in itself. The Bible is fantastic reading.

Jesus offered to let Thomas touch his hands and place his hands into his side but it doesn't say Thomas actually did. Thomas only replies, "My Lord and my God."
We can make the assumption he did and then made his reply.

I believe a more accurate translation of the hebrew states that Thomas put his finger in Jesus's butt. It was common of the early believers to check prostates as a greeting...

if i remember correctly...

"Thomas put his hand on Jesus' side. 'don't do that' said Jesus. 'But I like you' said Thomas. They stared in eachothers eyes, and Thomas knew that Jesus felt the same. Slowly they took eachothers clothes off and began to slowly and gently kiss eachothers bodies.
'this feels so good, it can't be wrong.' said Jesus......."

it continues like that doesn't it.
