i need to pick the right cable company that would give me fair price?

None. There is no cable company that offers a fair price for their service. In most areas the cable company is a monopoly. With that being the case, they can get away with charging almost whatever they want.

I have had everything from cable(Cox, Cable One) to satellite tv(Dish Network, Directv). I much prefer Directv to the cable companies as well as Dish Network. Directv has great customer support and the prices are not too bad. I have the package that gets around 150 channels, as well as the Starz movie pack (about 11 channels of movies) and Tivo. I pay around $65 a month for this service and I love it.

You should include satellite providers such as Directv. I prefer this service to cable and have had it for 9 years.
