Go ahead.
Just SMILE for the camera when you abandon the dog at the Humane Society. Most have surveillance cameras now for assholes like you.

Again, I only hope that you are merely a troll playing some sort of sick game.
You say that you are not an "evil person", but if you abandon that poor puppy by tying her to a tree (she will be terrified through the WHOLE night), you ARE an evil person -- and I only hope that some "higher power" (legal or spiritual) has his/her eye on you. If there really is a hell, surely people who cruelly abandon animals in such a cruel and callous (and yes, truly evil) manner should be among the first in line for entry. I'm not a particularly religious person, one way or another, however I believe (and hope) that you will pay, if you do such a thing. Karma is a b*tch, and you'll deserve what you get.
For heaven's sake, don't be such a total creep! Have enough character, maturity, respect and humanity to turn the poor dog in to the humane society. You can refuse to give your name, if you want to (they can't make you give your name); or give them a false name, if you must. Nobody will beat you or yell at you at the shelter, but you owe that poor dog (who, after all, is misbehaving ONLY because it is a puppy, and because YOU have failed to train her) at least *that* much protection. What if you tie her out there and a wild animal gets her (the tied up pup wouldn't have a chance); what if somebody really horrible finds her and tortures her or something?? As I stated above, nobody inside the shelter will hurt you or scream at you... they will simply ask why the puppy is being turned in... Tell them that you found her, if you must; it would be a heck of a lot better than abandoning her for who knows how long and to who knows what fate. If, however, you are caught by authorities for abandoning a puppy by tying her to a tree in the middle of the night, you CAN and WILL be arrested and charged -- by the police, not the humane society -- for animal cruelty.
But again, whatever you do, don't EVER get another pet again. For even considering tying a puppy to a tree in the middle of the night, you have NO business adopting or owning another animal.
And that is as nice as I can *possibly* be to you.

You know, if you go inside, and just tell them the truth, that this puppy is just too much for you, I'm sure they will understand. You have to do what is right by this puppy, and leaving her outside tied in the cold isn't the right thing to do. A puppy can become hypothermic and freeze to death in temperatures that an older dog would have no problem surviving.
I understand about annoying dogs; when I bought my first dog, a Schipperke, I turned her into the the shelter two days later because I just couldn't handle the barking and the poop. I would up changing my mind, and I had to go back and pay the impound fees to get her out.
If you bring her inside and refuse to give your name, some shelters will still take the dog, while others won't. The shelter near my house requires a photo ID to surrender a dog, while other shelters I've been to really don't care. Another idea might be to find a friend and have him drop off the puppy as a stray. That way the puppy doesn't have to wait in the cold, and your record is still clear if you want to adopt another puppy.
I caution you, though, the behavior you described is completely normal puppy behavior. It sounds like your first dog was the exception, but it's normal to have to deal with housetraining issues, puppy biting you in play or when you give her treats, etc. With some training, you can get her to stop biting, and although it may take awhile, most all puppies eventually get housetrained.
When you feel ready to adopt another dog, try to find an older dog who won't have any of those issues.
Another idea might be to advertise her, and find her a new home yourself. That way, your puppy will be going to a good home, and not the shelter, where she may or may not be euthanized, and your record will be clear in case you want to adopt another dog someday.
You also might try reading some training books, crate training your puppy, and working with her. You'd be suprised that all those issues you described can be worked with. If you give her a few months of diligently training her, you might be able to turn her into a great dog!
Hope this helps...
