Someone recently told me to mix Monster (white can) and Malibu. They said it was delicious. I'm going to try it.
I like blending frozen raspberry lemonade, ice, and gin in a blender. Yummy! Some people add ice-cream to that too. Won't make you drunk if you don't put too much gin. We usually fill the frozen lemonade can with gin. You can try adding only 1/4. Enjoy!

Our favorite new cocktail is one we invented recently, which we call the Cinnamon Julep:

1 shot bourbon whiskey
1 shot Goldschlager or other cinnamon schnapps

Fill a 6-oz glass with crushed ice. Pour liquors over ice and stir.

If we were making these for a magazine photo session I'd probably put in a cinnamon stick for stirring, but as it is we just splash the liquor in our glass, swirl it around a bit, and start sipping. It's sweet from the schnapps but zingy from the cinnamon, and the bourbon is a great sweet-smoky base to start with. We've also made it with a smooth medium rum (Mount Gay Barbados rum is our favorite these days), and it's at least as good. I'd love to try this with Jack Daniels, as I think its darker, stronger flavor would really hit the spot with the cinnamon schnapps.

As for not making you drunk... that's a matter of how much you drink and how FAST you drink. Mixers (that is, non-alcoholic additions) help slow down the intake, and if you're the one pouring, you can lighten up on the alcohol and keep the flavor without worry that you'll start tearing your clothes off and dancing on the table singing "I've Gotta Be Me" (not that this is necessarily a bad thing! :-)

at the restaurant i work in, we are doing lots of things with the new liquors that are on the market: the godiva liquers, the new bailey's flavors and sort of making them into fun martinis. we had one on the menu around christmas time that had peppermint schnapps, chocolate liqueur and had crushed candy cane on the rim of the glass. it was very festive and fun and tasted AMAZING!!

You don't have to make an alcoholic drink. He'll do it without your help.
