My mom is always complaining about how there is nothing new to make for dinner because she's been cooking since she was about 10. So I told her I would make dinner tonight but I'm only 13 and don't know many recipes other than the ones we usually make. We usually have some type of pasta, chicken or fish, or just like pizza or something. But, my sister only eats fish and my brother won't eat fish. Any easy recipes you can think of?

This recipe is for a medium saucepan.

My sis makes this fantastic chicken & rice dish. All it takes is some boiled chicken, 2 cups minute rice (dry), cheddar cheese, 8 oz.sour cream, and 1 can cream of chicken soup. The chicken and the cheese are up to your personal taste.

Directions:
Boil your chicken & shred the desired amount
Cook your minute rice.
Add the soup, cheese, sour cream, and cheese to the rice.
Incorporate all of those ingredients, add the chicken and stir.
Season to taste.

It's quick and easy and works every time. And i'm a very picky person! ; )

My sister is also 13 and loves to cook. She came up with this. Here's my answer for your fish-eating sister. It's really good as long as she'll eat pasta. : )

This is my home made mac n cheese recipe:
Boil some macaroni.
Add as much cheese, sour cream, and butter as your sis would like. Heat it back up and mix it all together. Serve it with w/e kind of fish she wants or just give her this. It's a never fail dish and my entire family loves it. I've been making it for 3 years (since I was your age).

Here's a flexible pasta dish. First, choose a favorite type of pasta.
In a saucepan, put in some alfredo sauce out of a jar. You can add some spinach, sliced mushrooms, frozen carrots or peas directly to the sauce as it is cooking. Add some onion powder, garlic powder, then add some salt and black pepper to taste.

For the brother that doesn't like fish, you'll probably have to separate some of the sauce mixture and put it aside just for him. In the rest of the sauce, you can add any time of sliced fish. Get a filet of salmon, for example, cut thin slices and add it to the sauce as it is cooking. The thin slices cook really fast. For your brother's sauce you can add slices of chicken breast.

Just serve over cooked pasta.

You can take one regular can of Pillsbury biscuts the homestyle ones I think the can size is 16oz. cut each biscut up in to 8 pieces. Take a jar of spaghetti sauce and whatever your favorite pizza toppings are and stir them together with the biscut pieces you cut up. Grease or spray a baking dish like a lasagne size pan and pour all that in to the pan, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and bake at 350 until the cheese is melted and the biscuts look done. About 15 minutes usually. My family loves it and its an alternative to pizza.
