As others have said, only if the knife isn't well washed first!
Also, better not to be caught.

You murdered someone? Well, you just need to make sure you wash the knife well. With soap. Just to make sure your slice of turkey doesn't taste like human flesh. If you don't wash the knife, you could become sick, and even worse if that person had a disease at the time.
Some religions believe if you use a knife that has once been used to kill someone to cut food or something that you would digest, the spirit of the person would contaminate your food and leave a a horrible disease, that no matter if you cure it or not, you will die.
I simply just don't believe in that. It sounds rediculous. I would just say, if the knife you're using to carve Thanksgiving turkey has been used to murder someone, I'd suggest using a different knife. If someone knows you murdered someone, FBI, police, or government teams may scan the knife and see if any flesh DNA of the murdered person was on it. If they find out, you could be charged heavy money, dealth penalties, and jail.
I really hope you didn't murder someone, and that this information helps. You can contact and find out more about me by clicking on my avatar. Have a great day!

It's fine, but be sure to wash the knife before carving the turkey.

No idea love, this is the United Kingdom, we don't carve "thanksgiving" turkey. Anyway isn't thanksgiving in November? Have you just awoken from a winter hibernation?

Yes, it is extremely tacky. One should never use the same fork to murder someone and carve turkey. And it also brings bad luck. I knew somebody who did that once and the police came for him the following day. They hung him eventually.

Just sluice some boiling water over it and it'll be fine.

Wouldn't your thanksgiving turkey be a little green by now??

Yes. If, however, you murdered them by shoving them in an oven, and cooking at 35 minutes per 450g, plus 30 minutes at 190C, then that would be fine.
