I have been sick for 4 days now....It started out with a little chest pain then turned into a fever by day one.....then day two I developed a dry cough with a fever....then day three it turned into a bad cough, fever, itchy nose, watery eyes, and chest pain.....now on day four I have a slight fever, my throat is really really sore, my chest feels like it is going to cave in, and I still have a runny nose and watery eyes....I still have a appetite and I don't have any stomach problems and I don't have a problem eating I'm just wondering what could it be.....since it don't sound like the flu!

The combination of these symtoms and the fast progression of the illness suggests that you may have strep-pneumonia. You should go to a clinic and get examined by a doctor immediately. The chest pain and the sore throat are pretty good indicators. If you are also coughing up phlegm that is not colored it is quite likely to be pneumonia rather than bronchitis. Either way, a prescription of antibiotics may be necessary to get rid of it...

There is a very serious virius going around right now and I have the same thing. Went to the doctor yesterday and he gave me medication/puffer used by asmatha suffers ...it screws up your respitory system better get to the doc cause this thing is bad and could last for weeks.

Could be bronchitis or Pneumonia or Strep. Go to the Doctors and get some meds.

That sounds just like pneumonia. I had it a few months ago. Go see a doctor....you definitely need to be checked out.

Maybe you had strep but didn't get it treated? Now you are suffering effects of this. You are in trouble if you don't get to a doc if this is the case.

You have a viral infection. Many different viruses can cause these kind of symptoms.

I've seen this before . Its called hags and i better not tellyou what that is cause its bad .Do you live in the LasAngeles area ?

sounds like a virus, if it continues, seek medical attention to make sure you don't have an infection.
