You need to use the right products in order to get straight hair. I suggest the following: wash and condition your hair with a shampoo and conditioner that is moisturizing. You could use any shampoo and conditioner that you like. when your hair is wet, use a couple of drops of Jojoba oil on your hair and blow dry it with a Tourmaline blow dryer (like Revlon). When your hair is 99% dry, use a Chi ceramic iron and straighten it. Even if you do not want to straighten your hair, Jojoba oil can help your hair in looking decent. It gets rid of the frizz and keeps your hair healthy.

There are a lot of "shine" products on the market, like Garnier Fructese (sp?) and Citrashine. They help to get rid of the frizzies and give hair shine. Just don't over-apply. Follow the directions. Conditioner after shampoo, but use Dove. It won't weigh your hair down and you don't want that if it's thin.

try to keep the hair on the shorter side if it is thin also keep some layers to encourage the curl.
if you are trying to straighten it you must use a straighening balm or other product to help hold the new shape. just remember that any humidity in the air or perspiration and you are back to curls.
I personally do not like flat irons as they destroy the hair if overused. you can use boars' hair bristle brushes to smooth the hair and keep the body as well

Try using some gel then blow dry straight. That should give your hair a more full look instead of thin and gurly. If gel or moose is used before drying then your hair will not frizzle either. If that does not work then the only advise I can give is go to a perfessional!

Try using shampoos that help straighten hair. Herbal Essence, Pantine, Sunsilk, they all work the same. Just buy the one that's on sale.

use conditioner and don't straighten it everyday.it can damage your hair and cause it to become frizzy when you don't straighten it.
