uumm not really depends if im at the bus stop and every 8 seconds a hot girl walks by yes if not then no i probably think about sex maybe 2-3 times a day if not stimulated in some way or another which happens to be a very broad term haha but when im up in the mountians by my self i think about it 2-3 times a day every 8 seconds i'd never get anything done

Every eight minutes, hmmm...... I'd say that I think about it at least 4 hours a day. So 4 into 24 is 6 which means that I spend one sixth of my day obsessed with sex. I use the term sex loosely though because when I think about it, it's not intercourse really that I think of, but it's kind of a high that i get when I think of or see something sexy. The problem is that it's not necessarily my girlfriend that I'm thinking about. My pulse quickens, my head clouds and I want it, whatever it is. It is more objectification and disturbingly dehumanizing. Why is it not more personal? Why do I not immediately associate intimacy with sex. Intimacy is very important to me and I would not dare cheat, but I do not associate the the sexy things that I see as readily as I should in relation to my relationship. I know my relationship is way more important than these pipe-dream fantasies, but that doesn't stop me for some reason. I think it is a chemical thing (testosterone in particular) and that it would be very difficult for a woman to understand. Once I heard that men's fantasies tend to involve unknown women, while women's fantasies involve a specific person that they know. We're so different that it's hard to understand and difficult to accept.

This is an urban legend. It has different time amounts to it. Some as low as 10 seconds. However, no study has ever said this. Think about it. How would you design a study to determine what a person is thinking about on any time interval much less how often they think about a particular subject? The nature of the experiment would cause the subjects to alter their thinking and invalidate the results.

Some men might, but I believe the factoid you're referring to is that most men experience at least a partial erection every 8 minutes.

come on,lol,if men evry 8 minutes can u give a close figure for women,well for me this number is way out of line ,goes for days and hours and sometimes weeks depends on what u do and what u encounter mostly no regular timing

I don't. I think its just a rumor. I think about it once or twice a day. If a guy thinks about it every 8 minutes then thats all he thinks about.
