My sister and I want to get a tattoo together, so far we've decided on the words 'One Blood', probably in Latin. Does anyone have any better ideas along these lines? We do not want crosses, butterflies, etc., and she's six years older than me so we can't think of any special memory that we shared because of our age difference!

How about a take off of the DNA (as in genes) symbol. Maybe you could add your Initials?

When I got a tat, it took a while to decide exactly what I wanted. I ended up with my kids initials, intertwined to look like Asian letters, all in black. Sometimes, simple is better.
Talk to your tattoo artist, they will probably have lots of ideas.
Have fun!!!

my friend and her sister got this and i think its cool--

they each got opposing halves of a heart on their wrists in white ink so when they put their wrists together, they make a heart. super cute and not tacky bc its white ink! also-- its something only the two of you will know about (and your friends of course)--random on lookers will wonder what the heck your tat is of (bc it doesnt look like anything on its own).

this would work with anything--you can get something incomplete on its own but made whole together (it good be a word, phrase, anything)
