i've had a straightner/relaxer in my hair and it was still wavy. best bet is to blow dry it straight in sections then flat iron it in sections the night before then do a quick fix in the morning with the flat iron and don't was too often. also i like garnia fruitius sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner

Here is a good way to straighten your hair without using a perm, flat iron, creams, shampoos or a clothing iron. Make sure your hair is clean when you do this. When the hair is wet comb it out very well. Then use large plastic rollers to set your hair. To assist in making the hair as straight as possible use a straighting shampoo or frizz ease. After putting the rollers in sit under a dryer for 45-60 minutes depending on the length of hair. If you don't have a hair dryer you can allow the rollers to stay in all night. Longer hair will take more time to dry. After that take rollers out and comb hair out. If the hair still has waves in it comb and brush hair around head and secure it with pins. You can do this step after taking rollers out and sleep on it also. If you don't feel comfortable doing this then you can go to your local salon and ask for a Doobie. This will give your hair a staight look without the use of a perm. It normally last a week if you wrap it at night. They can show you how to wrap at night if your not sure. Good luck to you sugar.

Well the easiest was to get stick straight hair is to get a perm. But If you don't want a perm then the best thing to do is to use a Iron. Not a hair iron but a real iron like the kind you use for clothes. Just brush your hair really well, wrap a towel around your hand, brush all your hair to one side, grab your hair in between your hand and the iron, push and pull down. It seems hard and like it takes to long but it really wont. It takes me about 10 minuets on my hair and I have long thick hair. Its hard at first but the more you do it the better you will get. Trust me its really easy. Good Luck :)

My sister's best friend has really thick hair that's really wavy and takes forever to straighten. When she does straighten it she does it at night so it's still straight for school the next day. If you wash it at night and then straighten it it might still look good the next morning.
