It is for deacons and beehives (12/13 year olds)... if anyone could give me some good ideas I would appreciate it... Obviously it must meet LDS standards. Thanks for any help!
PS - It is very cold here so please keep that in mind in your suggestions.

I am a Beehive (12-13 yr old girls) Leader..
You could have a "Scripture Bowl" where you play trivia with the scriptures and make a big football field poster, move the football along, score a goal after so many questions, each question is worth certain "yardage"...something like that
We go ice skating, do road clean-up then have hot choc and donuts...dodgeball, volleyball, any sport really...
Depends on how spiritual you want it i guess, I do know of some activities that are a lot more spiritual, email me if you want more info

You know what, the other day I was trying to explain a taffy pull to a fairly new American citizen, and then I realized that it had been so many years since I had seen one, I couldn't really describe it. That would tie in with a pioneer history night - since most of the "trek" type re-enactments are out of the question in the winter. Maybe try re-creating what pioneer youth would have done in the wintertime. Pop popcorn (you can jazz it up with more modern renditions like kettle corn or caramel), try the taffy pull, maybe have someone come with a violin/fiddle and try some songs. This could also tie in with learning a little bit about genealogy. Hopefully the food will keep the younger ones happy.

Hey, Im a LDS YSA, some of the best activites we ever had were ones that not only focused on the fun things, but on the spritual things. the best activity i remember was were we went through the plan of salvation, but we walked from room to room, like the premortal room was white and different people gave different talks in each room telling us what each place was like, and what we did there. we also collected the "keys" we would need. They gave us little paper keys with baptism..ect written on them. It was really nice and helped us all to understand the plan of salvation more.

Bowling, Volleyball, games like Apples to Apples are good for groups. If you have an indor mini golf place, broom ball on a hockey rink,

Maybe board games, or playing a sport inside (e.g. basketball). Bowling would work too.
