Getting audited?

I am a leasing agent and I can claim milage as a deductible.
However if ever audited would my company I work for be contacted regarding an estimation of how many miles I drive a day with apartment tours.

Depending on the level of the audit, that could happen. If the IRS was questioning that number, you'd be asked to show proof that it was accurate. So if what you're saying (or not saying) is that you've been padding it on your tax return, now would be a good time to stop doing that.
