I was thinking He would prevent large scale nuclear war. Otherwise Armageddon will not be fullfilled.

I believe God will intervene when we reach the point indicated in Bible prophecy where human beings (a universal majority) try to force other human beings to worship.

The Bible predicts that God will "interfere" when misled mankind will seek to compel their fellow beings to worship contrary to the dictates of their conscience and contrary to the will of God.

Sometimes, God does intervene in human affairs even now, at the present time, to over rule purposes of evil. Sometimes He intervenes to further the cause of good but whenever He intervenes, it is always His purpose of love toward human beings that necessitates it.

But the Bible makes it clear, that God will step in during the darkest hour of earth's history;

When deceived human beings try to enforce religious laws throughout the world under the mistaken notion that God will be pleased with their actions and that because of these enforced religious laws, God will bring an end to the tremendous disasters that will be occurring.

Read it for yourself. That final crisis revealed in the Bible is about worship. Many people are mistaken in believing the issue is something else.

Revelation 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

Revelation 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

Revelation 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and [upon] them which worshipped his image.

The return of Jesus will bring an end to this terrible time.

Revelation 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Revelation 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Revelation 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand ?

"God" will never interfere in anything, because so far, we have had several World wars, the Black Death, countless inhumaine acts against each other, natural distasters, and still, he has not said or done a thing. We are all alone here to do as we wish, and nop matter how much someone wishes "God" would stop something, he will not, because if he will not even prove to us that he exists, then what makes you think he will interfere when we are about to annihilate our own species?

I don't think I'd refer to it as "interfering". If you build an aquarium you create an environment, fill it with the life you see fit to place in it, and occasionally put your hand in the aquarium to make changes to the environment or to feed your fish. You wouldn't call it interfering because you created the environment and they're your fish. God is interested in not only the affairs of His world, but in your life as well. And He affects change in His world every day.
