Ok I know I've asked before, But how many guys like tomboys? I am a country girl, rodeo girl, army, farm, paintball lovin, camping, playing poker, all kinds of things, kind of girl. But sometime like to be girly. I'll get all dressed up and have some fun just alone in the bed room. I'll even get dressed up and go to the movies, or to dinner, or some place like that. Every time I date a guy they tell me I'm to boyish, and/or to wild one even said I was to much fun.
I'm just about ready to give up on guy and dating all together.
Please Help

I am 20 years old, like wild tomboys, when should I be over for the next poker game? Better yet, how about you put on a nice outfit and we can go play paintball together. Afterwards, we can go out to a nice restaurant for dinner. Can you imagine the stares we would get?!?
So bring it on...but I warn you - you better be wild!

Most guys love tomboys because you understand better the way we think and share more interests with us. There are only two reasonable turnoffs that I can see in this situation:
1. You always act like a guy and don't act girly enough, or you act gross, like we are. If you don't dress up feminine once in a while, and do girly stuff, then a guy can't really feel like your prince, like someone he wants to care for and protect. You may not need any protection in the basic sense of the word, but if you show some vulnerability, maybe share a weakness with him, he'll feel that you need him too. Also, to me personally, gross stuff is a turn off. I may love it that my girl is into paintball and stuff, but I'll also get disguisted if she burps really loud all the time or spits, or doesn't shower much, or doesn't take care of her teeth. Things that are more acceptable to guys in terms of grossness are less tolerated in a girl. I know it's a double standard but that's just how we think. I've met a couple of girls who are really fun tomboys, but they thought that being gross and lazy about taking care of themselves was OK, and that was a big turnoff.
2. The only other acceptable reason that I see is if your personality is too overpowering. If you are always the one taking charge and making decisions, then it will be a turnoff for most guys. We don't want a slave, or anything and we certainly want you to stand up for what's important for you, we just don't want you to be overpowering, try to run things 100% of the time. We may let you run the show, but we also need to know that if something really important to us comes up, you won't be controlling and will support us wholeheartedly. As long as you're not too bossy, you should be OK. If you're not sure, then just ask some of your friends.
There is of course one other reason why a guy might be turned off by this, he may be a total jerk and want to control your life and treat you like a possession and that's harder to do when you're really active and have your own head on your shoulders. But of course you wouldn't want that kind of guy anyway, so who cares whether he's impressed by you.
I wish you all the best.

I'm sorry to break it to you but I'm not so into tomboys. I mean, a bit here in there is actually ok but if your being too much of a tomboy then it could be unattractive. I'm not saying to be a complete girlish girly girl, but just have limits.
Most guys like to do guy things with other dudes over women, and girls would probably rather do girl things with other girls.
Just be yourself, you should not change who you are no matter what, just don't overdo it and have boundaries.
I know a lot of guys though who like girls who are tomboys, because they feel like they have a lot in common, and it isn't hard to communicate or spark a conversation up.

Sound like the girl that guys would love. Personally love when a girl is into all the same sort of things. And as for being to wild, don't think that is possible sweetheart.

i personally would thrive on tomboys'. I mean, I would still like her to have more hair than me. I don't wanna walk up behind her and mistake her for a guy.
I like a tomboy that can dress up, and most importantly...
Knows how to handle a gun...
(and must live here locally,lol-true).

Just go out with a guy that likes the same things you do. Tell the guys how you are. Just act normal and girly. Good luck!!!

get a guy who is comfortable with his own masculinity and confident. like me that **** is awesome cuz then i can do all the **** i love to do and not have to worry about what you want to do cuz its the same thang. country girls are hot and a dude that was comfortable with himself would be all for a girl he could do everything with. and rodeo i mean DAMN!!!!!!!!!! as long as you do the girly thang and it's not like people can't tell if you're a boy or girl
