How many people do you think you've really brought to Jesus? You've been a total *sshole on this forum, insulting anyone and everyone with a different perspective then you. How is that going to win people over to your religion?

Many reasons can be given as to why people refuse to worship Jesus. Some have a philosophical objection to theism in general. Others find many things historically implausible with numerous biblical accounts, thus tainting the validity of Jesus’ divinity in their minds. Still others have no exposure to Christian doctrine, but are only exposed to what others tell them about Christ, and therefore their rejection of Christianity is born out of ignorance or misconception.

However, I think the biggest reason why most people outright reject faith in Jesus is because of the behavior of many who claim to follow in his footsteps. Sometimes the greatest motivation, though not necessarily the best argument, against a belief is the hypocrisy of its followers, and there is no shortage of hypocrisy and ill will among Christian circles.

While I respect the teachings of Jesus, worshipping him never resonated with me. It never felt right. So I moved on and found something that was right for me. Of course put the shoe on the other foot - Why do others refuse to worship someone other than Jesus?

How can you choose a clown for your avatar and expect to be taken seriously?

You should have asked, " Why do so many people refuse to worship Jesus?" because your question makes it a fact that no one worships him. How old are you, kid?

Well, Jesus is worshipped by Christians. There are a great many people in the world who are not Christians. Those people who are not Christians don't worship Jesus.

Only Christians worship Jesus. If one is not a Christian, worshipping Jesus would be inappropriate, or perhaps it would not even occur to non-Christians to worship Jesus.

If you belonged to a club in which everyone drove Ford pick-up trucks, people who didn't belong to your club would not be compelled by anything to drive Ford pick-up trucks. I suspect that you would not be puzzled to see people driving things other than Ford pick-up trucks.

MOST people do not consider Jesus a prophet, let alone a messiah. Therefore MOST people see no reason to worship him.

Because did Jesus (pbuh) ever say "I am God so worship me"
Or did he ever say "I am the son of God so worship me" Or did he say "I am part of the trinity so worship me" ? the answer is NO,NO, and NO! I don't care if Paul or John said to worship him, who are they to tell us what to do? I care what Jesus (pbuh) said and not Paul.

For the same reason that you refuse to worship that large, purple gorilla that is standing on top of your computer beating bananas against the wall.

Because if Jesus couldn't be bothered to come to my ancestors without the aid of missionaries to spread His word, I can't believe that following Him is really that important in the long run.
