Whats is so dangerous about a wrist tattoo.......?
Anyhow, I suggest that you talk to a tattoo artist. They are usually quite creative. Give him (or her) Ideas about what you like, your goals, things you have done, etc,etc..... I guarantee you that the artist will be able to design something that you will be happy with.

hmmm - well why are you getting it then? Are you getting just "to get a tattoo"? Esp when you say that you're getting a tattoo but you don't know what you want to get. Why don't you do something meaningful to you - and no one on this thing is going to be able to tell you what that is because they don't know you and you're getting your advice from random strangers on the net. Don't get one just to be cool and because you think it will give you or help you portray an image. No, I am not against tattoos. I have one and am getting an addition to it in prob 2-3 months...but it took me almost a year to figure out what I wanted and sit with the idea to make sure it was really for me.
Some sort of writing on your back.....saying what? "yay i got a tattoo?" What does a star represent to you? Something meaningful or a design you saw on a friend....
Sorry if you don't like my answer and I'll prob get a thumbs down but oh wells!

Don't get a tattoo until YOU decide what YOU want. It will be wherever you put it forever...you don't want to wake up one day and ask "Why did I put that stupid thing on me?" Think of all the fangirls who put DefLeppard in their skin...years down the line and they're stuck trying to explain what it means to their kids and why it was so important to them.
I waited years before I finally got one. I don't regret waiting and I don't regret getting it. I got something that will ALWAYS mean something to me and the meaning will never change. My sister on the other hand, has had to cover the same tattoo at least three times and she Still Hates It!
When you do get one...go to someone who has been doing it for a long time. They need to be very clean, and they shouldn't have to talk you into anything. If they try, please go elsewhere...they're probably not worth your money.
One last thing: no flash, then everyone will have one just like it. The idea is to be original. So, make one up if you need to.

be aware tattoo on the lower arm can stop you getting some jobs.
if its visible when wearing short sleeves beware,
as for the art, pick something you can live with in twenty or fifty years. so avoid names. there are hundreds if not thousands of bodyart and tattoo websites, a quick image search with find more than you ever want.
If you know someone who is good at art , sit and talk with them, maybe they can help you come up with a design, a tattoo artist will do a design if you bring one with you, and suggested adaptions to improve the design.

Make sure its somthing meaningfull to you,
Remmeber tatoos are about expression, getting random shapes that have no significance can lead in some regret in it.
You want somthing that is truthfull to yourself, somthing that shows your personality on the outside.
Good Luck

your actually thinkin about letting other ppl chose a tattoo for you
well your nuts
i have more than a few and they all mean something to me
so if your planning on having a permanent art piece on your body find something that means something to you
but id personally say your obviously to immature to decide so dont get one leave it to the big boys

come on mate, a tattoo should only be done when you have a firm idea of what you want yourself. you've got your whole life with it so it needs to be meaningful, at very least bareable when you have to look at it everyday. if you need someone to chose it for you, its obviously got no special meaning or significance.
please dont get one for the sake of it :(

So, you're just getting one to get one - no specific design in mind? You should wait until there is something significant that you want to memorialize or you might regret putting some whim on your body that will be there forever...I've always thought that it would be terribly sexy if my husband got my name or initials on him, but he won't get a tattoo - I respect him for that.
