Sapphire blue. thats the birthstone for that month. My sister had a september wedding and used blue. It was very pretty. Or you could do deep colors like fushia and greens..

I say you just pick whatever colors you want regardless of the season.
You could also pick the colors that will flatter your bridesmaids skin tone as well.
I am getting married in April of this year and I chose colors that according to the books are winter colors. But hey it's my day and I want what I want regardless of the season.
Have fun

Fall is such a beautiful time to get married because of the color choices. Chocolate brown would be beautiful. Do you have an accent color in mind? Pinks, creams, yellows, golds are all ideas to consider. Then you can select flowers in the colors to compliment the dresses.
Or, think of nature to conjure up a color palette. Pick up a fallen leaf. You might see a combination of burnt orange, buttery gold and yellow-green. The next leaf may be a mix of dark brown and fiery red. As a rule, colors that are found combined in nature will work combined for your fall wedding color scheme.
A beautiful combination that is seen in everything from home decor to fashion runways is rich browns paired with purples, such as eggplant and grape. To accentuate the muted natural look, use other accents that suggest nature. Wrap wedding bouquets with fabric ribbon, tulle or raffia (leaf fibers from a palm tree, used to make baskets and other crafts.)
Terra cotta is another beautiful color from autumn's palette. Combine it with yellows, copper and ivory.
Deep red, a color of the season, has a romantic tone as well. Combine it with lavender, burgundy and other colors between red and purple on the color wheel. Enhance the romance by using roses as a primary focus in your bouquets and centerpieces. Tie deep red ribbons on the back of ivory chairs.
Blue is in high style right now, and deep shades such as navy, cobalt, blue-black and sapphire are wonderful for autumn. Pair these shades with shades of periwinkle and silver. Accent bouquets with glittery silver wires provided by your florist.
If you go with more of autumn's nature colors try these ideas for the flowers: chocolate cosmos are beautiful as an accent color and boutineers. What time of day is your wedding? Gerber daisies are beautiful as they are so vibrant and come in many colors, roses, calla lilies, while the calla's can be a bit expensive, you don't need many to make a stunning impression. They also come in many colors. Mums are also available in many colors. Cadendula, jasmine, LA lilies, cymbidium orchids are all beautiful and rich fall colors.
Talk to your florist as well. Tell them you have a certain amount to spend and they will help come up with flowers that will fit into your price range as well as compliment your dress as well as the bridesmaids.
Hope this helps.

Chocolate brown is still insanely fashionable and it goes with just about everything. Orange is also hot and a natural companion to browns. Basically tops for bridesmaids in fall right now is probably chocolate brown, champagne, burgundy, brick, harvest orange, sage.

either orange or blue....
orange would be nice considering that september is in fall but blue would be nice also because the gem sapphire represents people born in september. If you choose blue it should be a sapphire-ish color or maybe a light blue! Or if you want orange it should be a little dark....like a burnt orange color!

My best friend got married in October and she used fall colors for her dresses. They were a great chocolate color and she used a turqoise colored sash on them, it made them pop and look really classy. It was really neat because she tied the turqouise into her cake and reception decorations. It really pulled the whole wedding together. Also, the choclate was a color that looked good on all the bridemaids no matter their skin tone.

I am also a September bride. I am having chocolate brown dresses, the groomsmen are wearing black tuxes with brown cumberbuns & ties. My dress is ivory and the flowers are going to be in shades of red, yellow and orange. Good luck!
