training camp now that he is Oscar's trainer? Do you think he will have an impact on Oscar's fightplan? If he does have an impact on the fightplan what tactics will he emphasize to defeat PBF?

I think Roach brings a heck of a lot more than Mayweather Sr. ever could. I mean come on....everyone knows that Freddie is considered one of the best, if not, the best trainer in the world today. However, this depends on how well Roach and Delahoya connect as a team. Kinda like the Roach-Toney comments earlier. Do you really think James Toney is going to listen to any trainer?? He thinks he's the all-time best in the world.

As far as tactics go..I think Roach is going to emphasize conditioning, speed, and ring generalship. Delahoya is going to have to cut that ring off, be first to punch, (he has a good jab) and look for every opportunity to bang that body. Roach will be watching for every and all technical flaws for Oscar to capitalize on. I think Mayweather is due to meet the canvass.

Why do the majority of the people think PBF is going to win easily? He hasn't faced the kind of opposition that de la Hoya has in his career. In addition, Jose Louis Castillo whipped PBF's *** the first time they fought, but was robbed in the decision. Rest assured, de la Hoya is every bit as good as Castillo if not better. In my opinion, de la Hoya did all his work when he was a youngster and only truly needs a believer and empowerer in his corner.

Well, if Floyd Sr. is out, so am I. For me a hauge draw was son/uncle vs father/De La Hoya. Mosley was too fast for De La Hoya, too fast to REALLY hit often, and too fast to block many times also. Floyd may not have Mosley's strength, but what he lacks he more than makes up in speed. The ONLY way De La Hoya can win is with the off chance Mayweather breaks a hand in the 1st half. If that doesn't happen Mayweather should not get an easy, but unanimous decision. I am sure there will probably be a rematch also. Who cares who trains De La Looser? Not me in this meaningless defeat.

mayweather will win, for quite a few motives. between the biggest motives is that as of a month in the past, de l. a. hoya develop into very almost 10 lbs obese. as of a month in the past, mayweather develop into 2 lbs underweight. to lose 10 lbs in a month is alot greater stressful on the physique than to earnings 2 lbs in one month. for this reason, de l. a. hoya might nicely be greater drained out from dropping all that weight. additionally, mayweather is an undefeated champion the place as de l. a. hoya is a defeated champion. additionally, while it comes all the way down to it, even tho mayweather is the smaller fighter, he's acutally the bigger fighter in some techniques because of the fact the place as de l. a. hoya is heavier, it maximum possibly isn't muscle, probablly water weight or fat, which ability the smaller, lighter mayweather is particularly larger while it is composed of lean muscle mass. additionally, the final guy or woman suggested that the way de l. a. hoya is taller than mayweather might make a huge distinction. it probablly wont. mayweather is virtually a counter punch expert, lots greater effectual at it than de l. a. hoya, and can combat in unfavourable circumstances. (as quickly as I mean unfavourable circumstances, i mean like how he harm his dominant hand in his previous combat, and he nonetheless gained via unanimious determination.) the only project of de l. a. hoya being taller that i see is how he has an prolonged attain than mayweather. all in all, that is going to likely be an excellent combat whether its because of the fact of an early ko or because of the fact it lasts the full scheduled quantity of rounds and has non end action.

I like Roach, but i really think Oscar could have done better. This is going to be one of the biggest fights of his career and i think he should have gotten Emanuel Steward for this fight. Roach trained James Toney for his fights with Peter and Toney was in terrible shape in the 1st fight and had to call on Billy Blanks to try to get him in shape for the second fight. Well what does that say about Roach? Isn't it a trainer's job to push his fighter and make sure that his fighter gets in peak condition? I just don't think Roach can command the respect from his fighters to do the best that they possibly can like Steward can.

I think Oscar is going to win with or without Roach. Floyd is good, but he's never been in a fight like this.

I actually think Oscar can knock Floyd out. Floyd is NOT Hopkins. Oscar was crazy for thinking he could beat Bernard.

A better trainer. Mayweather Sr is horrible doing corner work. He doesn't even know what to tell Oscar in between rounds.

Speed and athletism. Think Manny Pacquiao or iron Mike. You'll need that when fighting a fighter like Floyd!
